I am pleased to report that the Program Committee has created another excellent program, in continuation of the successful 15th JAAM meeting last May 2015. This year's program committee has grown to a total of 84 with the addition of new members. Extensive collaboration among committee members has resulted in a rich program characterized by deep scientific content that covers 18 fields of specialization. To address the need of a well-balanced program, we have strived to include practical topics that are relevant to our members' daily practice as physicians. Highlights include special lectures from renowned researchers Prof. Richard Weindruch and Prof. Gervasio A. Lamas. We encourage you to submit your abstracts and actively participate in this rich and lively conference. |

The 16th JAAM conference returns once again to PACIFICO Yokohama. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the support of our 8,000 society members and our corporate sponsors. Attendees can look forward to another great program, which has been prepared under the leadership of Conference Chair Tatsuya Yamasoba, and Program Committee Chair Hiroshi Itoh. In addition, I am pleased to say that our society's sphere of influence has broadened with the publication of Nature Partner Journal npj Aging and Mechanisms of Disease in September of this year. I am sure that the conference program, created based on our society's aim to "practice science-based anti-aging medicine," will be enjoyed by members as well as other researchers and professionals that are yet to join our society. We look forward to your participation. |
